Aditi Nerurkar, MD, MPH, Director of the Cheng-Tsui Integrated Health Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) prescribes meditation, yoga and other integrated health approaches so her patients can minimize stress and even lower blood pressure and reduce pain, in some cases.

“I’m a doctor who prescribes medication and meditation, two words that differ by just one letter, but in reality, they’re worlds apart,” Nerurkar said.
